Such a fabulous place!! We love the family owned and operated vibe!! 1 in a million!! Soo glad we chose this restaurant for our romantic Friday dinner!! We will definitely be back when in Edmonton!!!

Pasta heaven. It's very hard to make something memorable from pasta. It's normally associated with home cooking. But, at Tasty Tomato's, they managed to add a special taste to this plane food. I suspect, that a very important contributor to the excellence of this place is their, daily produced onsite, fresh pasta sauce. One place for improvement, would be a quality of the eatery's bread. It had no crust, which is very important to me, and reminded me not of the Italy, but of the week old bread from my fridge.

Wholesome family restaurant that refuses to disappoint! Their staff are very detail oriented, always making sure every element of the customer’s experience is considered - our server made sure we had enough space between us and the table behind us, wanted us to be sitting out of the sun, and was very cognizant of how little time we had. The food came out very quickly and tasted delicious! Ask for the secret menu - there are some really delicious options that will likely alternate on and off of it!

The Tasty Tomato has been in their location for as long as I can remember. This is not a chain restaurant but family owned. There were 6 in our party and everyone ordered something different. From pasta to veal parmesan to lobster rolls, each dish was excellent and kept our money in Canada. While we were there, the restaurant quickly filled up and they tried to accommodate those with no reservations. This is a good sign. You can do no wrong dining at this place as a couple or a party.

I've now ordered ever item on the menu. Yet to have anything that was not simply delicious, very affordable and cozy. Sometimes there can be a bit of a wait, however any length of wait is worth it for the quality of the food presented. It has been almost 2 decades since my first meal here. Still fantastic. Still awesome folks making awesome meals. The sauce for sale is extremely good as well.

As the photos well show we were hungry! The bruschetta is like no other in town, so tasty on a pizza bread & so easy to devour with that addictive garlic tomato blend. If you like mussels the tomato Gorgonzola sauce makes you reach for the bread to soak it up! As for the two linguine dishes well all I can say we’ll be back soon. Very friendly staff & great service!!

We have been coming to Tasty Tomato for years. Back in the early 2000s my husband (then boyfriend) and I used to frequent this restaurant, and we loved their reasonable prices, fantastic and consistent food, and casual, cozy atmosphere. We just finished a meal there this evening, celebrating my husband’s birthday, with our three children. We love it just as much, if not more, than we did when we were a young couple. The food is always amazing, the staff are super friendly, and the service is top notch. We hope this restaurant is still around for years to come, as we have every intention of returning again and again!
